What our poets have to say: I thank you deeply for this great opportunity you have given me. I encourage you to keep this event year after year. I have been writing poems since kindergarten and have felt the rhythm which thanks to you it'll never stop. Lucy Gutierrez Herrera - Poet California This is the second year I have chosen to send entries for the contest. It is an excellent tool for motivation and stimulates an appreciation for poetry. I am pleased with the results and wish to continue entering each year. It has proven to be a self-esteem booster for my students and stirs a sense of energy I have found hard to generate from regular instruction in the classroom.
